Book sales are a tough thing to figure out. What kind of post will boost sales? Why do some books fall between the cracks? What role does the author play?

Where do you write? A desk most likely. I wrote my first book Knock Out on my bed. I tried writing at a desk but it felt to businesslike and I lost the creativity. Just goes to show location matters.
